I don't know if he was a habitual user or if he dabbled on nights out or special events etc. like so many regular people do but if it's the former he's one of many thousands who would benefit from the Portuguese model more than the current criminalization regime for hard drugs that's way past the point of not working and if it's the latter, and I cannot stress this enough, the fun isn't worth the risk at this point. Whatever joy people used to be able to get from recreational drug use has been totally sapped by fentanyl. It's horrific. Just don't do it.

The tweet that jstew posted about the necessity of a clean drug supply is of paramount importance. There are far too many people losing their lives prematurely and it's a huge problem that needs to be addressed.
