My wife would call the cops. Narc...

I've taken the kids to that bike park plenty of times. Was always busy.

I've thought about it but in the end. What good would that accomplish?

It has been packed.

It's the stupid people to. Saw a kid, granted he was wearing a helmet, go down one of the hills sitting on his longboard.

when we're all on the fucking brink due to your 7% annual tax hike, there's not a lot of fucking wiggle room.
the businesses i have been talking to are all wondering how to make the massive tax bill in July, too.

maybe delay collection by a few months like the rest of society is doing (banks, federal gov't, hydro, etc)
you've laid off thousands of city employees, so your expenses should be down, no?

the city announced a 60 day grace period on property tax payments on march 20. Sounds like the city should have made sure the provincial govt were going to cover them/agree to that before telling the public they were going to do that :L

odd, I don't see that on their website.
latest news is they are re-implementing parking enforcement in the west end.
need that revenue!

PoCo* said last week they were rolling back property tax increase and delaying due date
I've been waiting for Vancouver to follow suit.

*maybe it was PoMo? one of them.

This is one general upcoming problem that no one seems to be talking about. Going to be lots of states/provinces looking/expecting to be "saved".

Hell, this possibility wasn't mentioned enough even before COVID, most of these aren't really the result of new problems. But it's a real concern now.

Surrey golf course on 168th was packed yesterday. They had a huge sign at the entrance to the parking lot saying SOCIAL DISTANCING 2.5 METRES

Northviews gates were closed and Morgan Creek had course employees patrolling on cart so no putting for me ... pushed my son into blackberry bushes to find lost balls instead :thumb:
