On a related Sportsnet 650 note, I'm curious what other people think of the play-by-play work of Brendan Batchelor - I just think he doesn't have a great voice for radio and he doesn't seem to reach the crescendos that a good play-by-play guy should when the play gets exciting.

I'm not surprised by jstew's tweet above, TSN 1040 in my opinion has by far the better talent, Halford and Brough are funny and engaging personalities and then they hand things over to Donnie and the Moj which I realize are not everyone's cup of tea, but they have the long time loyal listeners and then you have Sekeres and Price who are right there with Halford and Brough in my opinion.

I think batchelor is just ok. The main problem with the radio broadcast is hirsch imo. Dcmp got stick for being the teams mouthpiece when 1040 had the rights. Hirsch is whole nutha level

I think what helps tsn also is they have much better national “experts” than snet. It seems like the toronto based guys they bring on dont even watch the games from their assessments lol Snet seems so out of touch with what the regular canucks fan thinks

gas was 1.68/liter* yesterday, then dropped to 1.48 at night.
figured it was a deal as all of the cabbies were filling up.
sure enough, back up to 1.68 this morning.

that's nutso price movement.

I have been a recipient of a this Transplant, 6 years on May 8th.

Diet is harsh but everything else, including medicine regime, is easy when you get used to it
