We got about 6 inches this morning, but by the time I got off work, it was warm enough to start melting and making the roads a puddle.

This has been an incredibly crummy year for me but I just had to drive to Maple Ridge from Richmond and the new 17/91 overpass (that I can't understand for the life of me wasn't part of the original design but...) makes life a lot easier there.

Now just need another bridge from the North Shore and something, anything to connect Hwy 1 out of New West. Coming soon, right? Right?

We need a bridge over the Saanich inlet from Mill Bay to the Victoria airport. Of course, that's not going to happen in my lifetime.

Pat Quinn Classic tournament starts this afternoon in Burnaby after a 2 year hiatus. Big names have played here in past tournaments and there will be some u15/bantam whl draft eligibles on display. Warning: may have to avert your eyes in case of Michigan attempts.
