Take that money allocated to the museum redevelopment and instead allocate it to building more affordable housing for young people.

But don’t build it in fucking Vancouver. Just because it’s a big city doesn’t mean all those young folks should live there on the cheap. They should live where work is.

I’d love it if someone build me some cheap housing in Vancouver.

Looks like they were anti-vaccine, anti-Trudeau gun enthusiasts according to this article. Also appears they wanted to replicate a North Hollywood robbery and shootout back in 1997.

i can see them coming down from the mountains in North Burnaby, but can't imagine where it would have come from in Central park.
it's surrounded on all sides by city. I would expect a bunch of coyotes (often see scores of them at nearby Fraserview golf course) , but not bears.

/There was a sighting at Deer Lake Park a few weeks ago, suppose it might be that one and they just wandered down the street overnight. Black bear ushers in season by wandering around Burnaby's Deer Lake

Bear sightings are pretty common where I live and my neighbours have said this year they've had more encounters & sightings than usual but I walk my dog early morning and just before sunset and I haven't come up to one since last fall.
