Never an appropriate time to do what happened today but I feel like if the city had acted on this about 600 days ago when they first announced they were “consulting” on the right way to remove the statue this might not have happened … van city hall just takes your tax dollars and does sweet FA about almost everything

Hopefully you threw the mouse in an enclosed garbage so no other animals/pets outside munch on its poisoned carcass and end up getting poisoned themselves

Guy I work with found some thing online to trap mice with some sort of sticky device that traps them and you get rid of them. So they trapped a mouse and it was just stuck there in agony trying to escape and the people couldn’t get him out and didn’t have the heart to kill him and it really traumatized them.

So yeah, just hire an exterminator to do your pest killin. We aren’t built for it.

A few years ago, my wife and daughter befriended an outside cat that was roaming the neighborhood. One day the cat presented a mouse on our back step that she had killed. So if you don't want to go the exterminator route, getting a cat is an option although knowing @mattola has dogs, that likely isn't an option for him lol

The rat that made it's way up my toilet a few years back got caught in a bucket by me and released in the backyard...

I use those sticky traps but don't check them often. I'd rather that than use rat poison (Warfarin) and have raptors in my area dying from eating poisoned rodents.
