My daughter arrived from the Big Smoke yesterday afternoon.

We enjoyed happy hour, ate dinner and watched TV all night in close proximity.

At 10 PM she got a text from her massage therapist saying she had tested positive that day.

My daughter had been at her facility on Tuesday.

So we are sort of all now isolating. She has a test on the 26th but nothing sooner.

We can't risk seeing my Dad or my In-laws.

Good thing I'm not a social butterfly. Don't have to come up with a fake reason to not attend some gathering. I can just claim COVID and stay home and watch TV>

Not quite Edmonton bad by hosting a flat earth conference, but not great, either.
there was a guy on a group chat I was on for drop-in hockey who had the name "flat earth" something or other.
I assumed it was a joke, but it turns out he was a conspiracy nut (and anti vaxxer of course).

anyways, he dead now.

nope. white guy
There's a lot of antivax flat earthers out there. I work with one flat earther (had 2 for a while) along with 5 antivaxxers in my department of eight people.

still waiting for a Darren Dreger update of your backyard rink, before the snow hits tonight.
Seems pretty solid. I should have raked my garden bed more level though. In one corner of the bed the water was 6 inches high and the opposite diagonal corner was 2 inches. That 2 inch corner looks solid but it appears theres still water under the deeper frozen corner :noidea:

My kids are going out there shortly. My daughter tested it out without skates today and she fell on her ass and no cracks (i said pardon?) so it looks promising. Hopefully it doesnt “heat” up too much. Using a blue tarp was probably a mistake but i didnt want to go buy a white one lol

Worked out ok … son a little tentative. Maybe a little worried about the 4 foot fall off on the right side
