That is going to take months if not years to fully repair. I mean, they will probably get something temporarily in place in six months because it is an important corridor.

If it takes six months to get something temporary in there’s gonna be some serious problems. They need something in weeks.

More importantly, they need rail lines fixed ASAP. Goods entering Port of Vancouver need to get eastbound or there’s going to be a logistics crisis that makes the one at the Port of LA look managable.

I was thinking of getting a kayak to play in my creek it's racing so ferociously. Then I thought, fuck that, I'll get wet.

We've not experienced much other than really heavy rain here. The Somass River is high but withing it's dykes.

And yesterday was reprieve day when it was sunny all day, and hit 8 C.

No rain so far today, but it's cold overnight so the city boys are spreading that salt sludge shit they put on roads. Liquid cancer.
