my neighbourhood has just lost power - 2,800+ effected customers, basically 10 square blocks
starting right across the street from me (we are OK for now)
gonna make sure my phone is fully charged, just in case

the wind is weird. I have a small maple tree in front of my office window - it is either completely still, or almost sideways.
