yeah I can actually see the sun shining thoughWell, the air certainly looks a lot better today here in the valley than it did the last few days.
We're still socked in here, although I actually saw a shadow meaning the sun was trying.
My daughter is supposed to fly out of Nanaimo tomorrow afternoon or Thursday AM to pick up her new car. We're trying to make it so her old one (2003 Wolfsburg Jetta) can stay here so it's easier to sell.
But this smoke is making it a bit anxious for her.
Same hereyeah I can actually see the sun shining though
last night during the rain the air actually smelled fresh for the first time in a week.
meanwhile, the smoke has made it to the east coast
Sun was out in MR all afternoon but it had a bit of murkiness to it still.
I saw 2 ODs on my way back from a service today on Kingsway alone about 15 blocks from each otherCraziness 2 blocks from my house ... 3 fire trucks police ambulance... everyone in hazmat suits ... giving cpr to someone in the front yard
I have no idea what happened. No one from the neighbourhood who was watching knew. Not sure if the hazmat suits were for covid or for fentynyl. Garbage all over the front lawn? But we did all see the ambulance take away an infant/child. Women wailing. Very sombre. Lots of police presence remaining after fire and ambulance left. Hoping for the best for those peopleI saw 2 ODs on my way back from a service today on Kingsway alone about 15 blocks from each other
