I guess I will do the honorable thing and either move or cut down several trees and put in satellite.

I have had Satellite for 7 years and nary a complaint. Except during heavy storms.

But that's why I have Netflix.

It sounds like the main reason the government was going to try to stop it was actually because of broadband. Their combined percentage of broadband market would be much higher than the TV market. The other big difference being that you usually only have once choice for high speed internet at your house (i.e., the cable company) but even if you have only one cable company in your area, you still have other options for TV since there is reasonable competition from the satellite providers.
