For those that don't know, the guy in white is 2 time champ Fernando Alonso. He left team Ferrari at the end of last season to join McLaren saying that Ferrari was fading and he wanted a chance at another championship.

McLaren qualified poorly in both races so far, only one car actually started the last race and they haven't scored a point yet (Top ten finishers get points). Alonso's car was out about 15 laps into this race with an engine failure. Those guys in red are Ferrari mechanics.

Alonso's replacement, a champion in his own right, won the race.

He never said Ferrari was "fading", he said his love for the team had faded and he didn't agree with the direction the team was taking. Ferrari did a really shit job of building a competitive car the past few years. Alonso was barely in competition for the title the past two years and could only podium 4 times last season. He's hardly my favourite Ferrari driver ever but he was capable of better than that.

Having said that, glad as hell to see Vettel win Sunday and the emotion he had when he had done so.
