Many hundreds of years ago in a small town by a river located in Persia, Abdullah let out a horrific fart. It was so bad, that poor Abdullah fled the city in shame.
He travelled far and wide. From the gates of China...to the shadows of India...to the borders of Greece...there was nowhere Abdullah did not go. For twenty years, Abdullah remained a wanderer. Eventually, however, he felt the lure of his former home and he began the trek towards that small town by the river.
Riding by camel is hard and slow, and it took Abdullah another 5 years to reach his former hometown. The years of travel had taken its inevitable toll on his appearance...his beard was grey and black and the desert sun had wrinkled his face.
Upon reaching his home town, Abdullah went to the closest watering hole to give his camel a break. A smile upon his wizened face, Abdullah slid off his camel and admired the town's children running to and fro and their parents watching after them. He recognized no one and no one recognized him. It was a chance to start a new life.
"I haven't been here in 25 years." Abdullah said out loud, to nobody in particular. "25 years you say?" asked another man, standing by his own camel. "I did!" said Abdullah. "Wow," elaborated the stranger. "it was 25 years ago today that a man named Abdullah let out the greatest fart ever made!"
