I don't know what the fuck we had, but it was either a chevy or an oldsmobile in the mid 70's
Family used to go to the drive in, with the expectation that my sister and i would sleep in the back after the first movie.

never happened of course (though my mom would always fall asleep early).
one of my earliest movie memories was standing on the front seat as a 6 year old watching Jaws.
freaked the shit out of me.

i think i watched the last half of the movie (when all of the air barrels would pop up) like this

My parents had an - I think - 7th generation (late 70s) T-Bird (may have been 6th) when I was a kid. Way before my learning to drive days, but I do remember watching my dad try to wax the entire hood on that beast.

It was like watching someone try to sunscreen their entire back.
