Weird, I listened to a long interview with Idle yesterday and he mentioned he was very good friends with George Harrison and friends with Bowie. I wonder why they were not part of it.

I guess Bowie could have been in a bad way then.

Visiting my family, we've started a family ethnic heritage food tour.

Tonight was authentic Italian pizza from Bellisario's and homemade French Onion soup.

Through the rest of the week it'll be Polish pierogis and stuffed cabbage (golabki), German potato pancakes, bratwurst and strudel.

Top it off next week celebrating St. Patty's Day with some Irish food. Maybe shepherd's pie or corned beef and cabbage.

I saw him perform at a local comedy club about 25 years ago and part of his act was sketching a person. He did a decent job in charcoal or chalk and the joke was he kept moving the volunteer model's head to get different angles but at the same time was leaving chalk marks on her face.
