Guess what else: Th Democrats are not going to take away guns.

Fiscal change is much easier to accomplish in the American system than social change. The latter has to happen on a grass roots level. Therefore people vote on their wallets.

I do, too. So I'm voting for someone who doesn't want to cut science funding.

Well that is muddled as well. Take a look at how much science funding and scientific advancement has come from defense funding. The DOD getting funding helps us all, in a huge way, even if indirectly.

I wouldn't mind some of the DoD going to the DoE, NSF, and NASA, though. I wouldn't cut science funding, I was just move it.

I doubt it. I find the Supreme Court to be a lot less politicized than people make them out to be. As far as appointees to other courts, however.....
