I don't watch VVS.

LOL

The other day, someone posted a VVS video they took of the "State of the Bruins" thing at TD Center. Someone else commented on the VVS, and asked that they rotate it.

So they did.

It was now full frame, but... 90 degrees on it's side. And still Vertical. I didn't get a chance to save it before they realized it and pulled it down.

Oh, I forgot to mention this thing I found neat:

Found a restaurant where the Asian waitresses dress up in schoolgirl outfits.
It was awkward to be there with the family, but I found it pretty neat nonetheless
Good bubble tea, too.

You're in Japan, then?

It should be noted that A) The maid's speech in the beginning isn't translated very well. She's talking much more politely, and B) I have no idea what happens in the rest of the video because I've no interest in creepy nerd fantasy shopland - I've not been to one but I know enough about them to not see any more.

Nothing that extreme. Richmond = more Chinese than Japanese

My wife did have the squid. I stuck with kung pow prawns.
Puckhead likes the kung pow. (seinfeld moment)

Just found it last night! Tapioca Cafe, I think it was called. On Capstan Way

its minutiae but those who read the book might find it interesting

How Chris McCandless Died : The New Yorker

Interesting read.

I’ve received thousands of letters from people who admire McCandless for his rejection of conformity and materialism in order to discover what was authentic and what was not, to test himself, to experience the raw throb of life without a safety net. But I’ve also received plenty of mail from people who think he was an idiot who came to grief because he was arrogant, woefully unprepared, mentally unbalanced, and possibly suicidal.

I little bit of A, a little bit of B has always been my opinion. Good book and story though.

The Australian city of Melbourne was founded by explorer John Batman and he initially tried to name the area Batmania.
