Neither am I, he was a thief and was very inflexible with DC and could have killed a lot of people. I'm glad he decided to stop paying Tesla. forced the lad to go out on his own.

Edison wasn't *quite* as bad as made out in that, he was under tremendous pressure from old JP Morgan. He made some really bad decisions to meet deadlines, and had to steal ideas to keep moneybags happy.

They kinda did that on History with a series called "the Men Who Built America"

The one on JP Morgan made me want to invent a time machine just to punch him. And how a couple of millionaires in Pittsburgh caused the Johnstown flood.

Yeah well you're not getting a dime of my money for this endeavor until I start seeing some return on my investment of $50,000 for "Ghost Fart".

Oddly enough, initially there is not a whole lot of interest in that project. Yet.....dont worry about your investment.

I thought I would like that show...and really tried to, but after 2 I did not want to watch any more.

Pretty sure you could do the entire first season on Edison, not just the first episode.

Not only could his on-going feuds with and thefts from Tesla cover a couple episodes, but there's also the Edison Trust (Motion Picture Patents Company) and his virtual theft of all discoveries made by researchers in his labs.

Now, see... gotta rub salt in the wound. THAT was my idea, more or less. I wanted to do a show called "History as I remember it" where you ask people who have been away from school a while and ask them to explain some event in history (as they remember it) and then you get improv actors to act it out.

"You graduated from a Texas high school in 1981. Explain the Egyptian empire, go". You know it would include Jesus on a brontosaur.
