Yeah, I don't blame ya. Nothing against people believing in god or anything but when they dispute scientific facts it makes me wonder. Plenty of good non catholic prep schools he can attend with great hockey programs I bet. I know there a a few here in the Boston area.

Bears repeating...
My 94yr old grandmother now has her first cell phone.

This is surely a sign of something.

Not to pick nits, but that's more like born again fundie bullshit.

My kids go to Catholic School, and the boy (5th grade) is working on his evolution project/science fair presentation right now.

Many many southern private christian schools and homeschool groups use the A Beka curriculum. That page looks like it was taken directly from that program. It is WAY more prevalent than you think. It is also why the US has fallen way down the ranks in science education globally.

I also went to Catholic school, and I'm somewhat science-y. :nerd:

Swedish league goal of the year:

Awesome goal! LHC (Linköpings Hockey Club) is my hometown team (and favorite of course).. haven't been able to see any games though since I don't want to pay too much for TV... Already got the competitor's on-demand TV package (with NHL (all games), NFL, Premier League and Champions League among others) and Netflix..

All the players in blue are named Husqvarna. What are the odds?

Yeah, it's crazy :) In Sweden, and alot of other leagues, ads take too much space, on ice and on the players, and the names are often printed below the number. I hate too much ads.. that's why the NHL surprises me.. ads are everywhere all the time in USA in my experience (haven't been to Canada yet, but is it as cluttered as USA?)
