So, on my rather quick drive into work today, the 80's Alternative station on Sirius hit me with, in order:
Smiths - How soon is now
OMD - Tesla Girls
Smithereens - A girl like you
Peter Murphy - Cuts you up.

That's a kick ass line up. I actually stayed in my car to see what was next in case they kept the roll going. They didn't. The next song was ABC - How to be a millionaire.

OMFG I love thsi song.

Third best thing I ever saw in concert was them on the Sonic Temple tour. They played a four or five minute bridge between "Love Removal Machine" into "Automatic Blues". Some of the best guitar and drum work I've ever heard.

For the record;
Second greatest was Hootie and the Blowfish covering "Love the one you're with" with a section covering Public Enemy, Wu-Tang clan and School house rock and featuring an electric acoustic guitar used to make turntable sounds.

First was an encore by Living Colour that featured covers of "Should I stay or Should I go", "Sailing on", "Talking loud, ain't saying nothing" and "rise above"

I love the Internets.

Not the same show I was at. But here they are. And I was wrong. Middle song was 3rd Bass.

Again, different show. But that's them.
