thats hilarious ... city of surrey threatens legal action for trademark infringement because the slogan and logo look similar to their official city logo and slogan yesterday

the website of the guy who is selling the shirts goes bezerk ... tens of thousands of hits yesterday ... sold alot of shirts yesterday ... stories in all local media

today surrey says they will not pursue legal action

well played surrey ... well played ... they should charge the dude for the advertising

Found this picture of The Paris Opera House from c. 1900. I have put a picture next to it from 2006 when my wife and I went there for our honeymoon. I have put them side by side for comparison. not much has changed from the building (I tried to scale it to size and gave one in colour and one in b&w) however the street obviously has some change except for the busy people just living their lives. I find this fascinating.
