OT: The Walking Dead - BEWARE OF SPOILERS

I thought Michonne was pretty helpful in this one. She seemed to take care of a number of walkers in the field and it looked like she was really making an effort to get to Herschel. Agreeing with Glen to go to Woodbury was kind of a big deal too.

Plus she was the first main witness (in this episode) of Rick going to crazy town. And she shut the gates after he left them wide open.

The blood on Glen? Pretty sure it was Tyresse's and his crew.

LOL, His first executive decision after appointing himself leader.

Yeah I think that was part of it but I also don't think he intended to finish them off. He knows Andrea wants to go see him them and he had just told her that aslong as the prison group leave Woodbury alone they won't attack them. If Andrea goes and finds them all dead then she'll know he lied. Although I don't see why he wouldn't just kill her before she tells anyone else. This way he figures they'll likely strike back but to most in Woodbury it will appear as though Rick's group are the terrorists.

The other thing is I think he is setting Andrea up to fail. He saw all the naive Woodbury people rallying around her. He pretends he wants to step aside and have her lead. But he knows she won't be able to do it when Woodbury is being "terrorized" by Rick's group. That's when he plans for him and his henchmen to save the day and he'll win the people over again.

i thought about that as well. he plays so many angles. he knows he cant survive properly in that world without controlling the people of woodbury. without it he is just a simple survivor and I dont think he can do that alone.

FINALLY CAUGHT UP!

I've been avoiding this thread for years, should be good to finally participate.

Last episode was awesome. Also shocked that they killed Axel just as they were developping him, that really keeps you on your toes with characters. I don't know why so many are confused about the Glen / Maggie fight. Seems pretty obvious to me. Glen is angry at Maggie because she was almost raped - obviously not her fault, but men can get really weird about these things. Maggie is appropriately furious in response. I also don't know why we aren't giving Glen a bigger break - he just went through one of the most traumatic experiences on the show, and now feels he needs to protect the whole group.

yay - first time i have ever had a chance to watch the episode on the night it was aired.

- Merle showing a bit more depth. like to see that.
- loved the relatively quick cuts from the prison to Woodbury. Builds the upcoming battle nicely.
- hey, nice to see THEM again. hope they don't get in with Woodbury crowd though, now that the Gov is building the troops
- hey, Andrea is less than useless tonight! .... oh, but still a wishy-washy retard.
- whoa - Carol with a decent plan. not sure Andrea will even get that chance again though
- or maybe so. Governator is up for a hate-fuck.............. gaaahhh, chickenshit.

Pretty solid episosde although a bit anti-climactic. I think that was to be expected after last week. That being said I was half-expecting a WTF ending via the Governor putting an end to Andrea just as she was about to do so to him.

I figured the father and son would end up in Woodbury but didn't think Tyrese and Sasha would as well. Not sure how it's going to happen but I suspect Tyrese and Sasha will end up back with Rick's group eventually.

so that was good. I expected someone to get pasted at the end the way they were playing it. they certainly keep you guessing. Is rick out of it now? back to being him? CArl is fucking badass and hes about to get better I think.

Andrea.... Andrea..... Andrea I understand you like woodbury but cmon take that chance. if you dont know hes going to kill you all by now you deserve death. I can only assume she wants to keep it as it is and keep peace only because she is weak and cant deal with the insanity that is the new world that she needs woodbury more than she can understand which is the only way she can keep any sympathy for the governor and act the way she is.

nice to see Herschel step up to the plate. nice depth for MErle finally but they cant bring him that quickly into the fold for trust. but hes needed.

I suspected tyrese would end up in woodbury man rick messed up that. I think the 2 white guys bite it by the governors hand but Tyrese still helps the prison.

i was really hoping the group was just locked up like you suggested and hadnt been forced to leave the prison by Rick but then what Tyrese said to the Governor when they met at the end of the episode last night got me thinking ... something to the effect of "we'll do anything to earn our keep"

... ya think? ... maybe???
