Only thing I didn't understand this week.

Why did the governor and cronies not press the fight? They had the group separated and pinned down.

on talking dead, the theory was they were testing their defences since they didnt really get a guage on how big Ricks prison group was from beating on Glen

she took out a good swath of walkers when the truck opened up.
kinda thought it would be her to save rick at the fence (ergo becoming part of the group). the brothers makes sense too though.

militarily, I figure they didn't exactly know what they were up against, and this was kind of a scouting mission.
see how they push back, scout their firepower, unleash some Zeds to cause chaos.
it was a pretty small group if their intent was to take the prison / wipe out everybody.

Assuming that was a recon mission, the additions of Daryl, Merle and potentially Tyrese's crew could really blindside the Woodbury crew when they return.

I think they expect Merle and Daryll to be there already. they had no clue about Tyrese.

Her and Milton have to be the wildcards in this right? I predict Milton winds up doing something to set the Governor off, Governor kills him, Andrea winds up killing the Governor.

Milton is deathly afraid of the Governor. The Actor that plays him showed that very well in their discussion. I like Milton and hope that he survives. Andrea just needs to be written better. they make her so useless and stupid and then the producers get upset why she gets so much flak. and holy crap I guess the actress that plays michonne does not get paid by the amount of words she speaks.

where did Tyrese's group end up going? back into the "tombs"? out the prison gates?

if they are in the tombs they are doomed. the scene of Glenn coming back and covered in walker blood was telling that they are over run again (and he mentioned it briefly) although even if they were in teh tombs they cant get into the cell block they are not that strong and even with a hundred of them pushing on the cell doors they wont budge. I think Tyrese group is in teh cell block that oscar and axel hung out in that they cleared out for now.

It would seem like a total waste, completely pointless to introduce Tyrese and his crew if we don't see them again.

All of the prisoners they encountered are now dead. That didn't take long.

by the way I kinda chuckled when Glenn said with Rick in Crazytown that he was next in line for leader. I actually put Carl ahead of him heh

I think that this ordeal will wake him up as action will be needed and Herschel is about fed up with the breaking of the group that he is going to put Rick Straight. where did glenn go by the way? I didnt catch that. was it just to look around the prison?

hope so ... in the books it is so drawn out ... at least hes not using the phone on the show

although it would be cool if he started carrying around a circa 1985 russian made cell phone

the books showed the phone calls went a while correct? in the show it was 2 episodes. I think they need to push it as fast with lori. just give us the glimpse then move on. too much to go through

I thought Michonne was pretty helpful in this one. She seemed to take care of a number of walkers in the field and it looked like she was really making an effort to get to Herschel. Agreeing with Glen to go to Woodbury was kind of a big deal too.

Plus she was the first main witness (in this episode) of Rick going to crazy town. And she shut the gates after he left them wide open.

The blood on Glen? Pretty sure it was Tyresse's and his crew.
