OT: The Walking Dead - BEWARE OF SPOILERS

I think the title of the episode could be somewhat of a spoiler. Although if it means what I think it does, a 2nd candidate was mentioned in the last episode. It could involve either 1 or both of them.

Well I was way off. I thought the title might have been referring to either Lori's baby or the baby of the pregnant woman in Woodbury or both being zombies.

Really good episode. They really cleaned house wish some long-time characters. Can't wait for next week's episode!

I have to agree. I need more from her than suspicious looking and angry. lots of hype on her and it seems wasted. I do trust she will get better later. Andrea needs to die

I dont get the Andrea part this episode. One second she is saying bye and leaving, and the next she is wanting to stay a couple more days. Michonne may need to be more emotive, but at least she is suspicious of Woodbury while Andrea is not.

Is it possible Merle turns out to be a good guy at the end of this? The Governor wants him nearby and probably has no problem manipulating him and keeping him as his attack dog. I think at some point Merle has to choose between his brother and The Governor and family will win out. Or he could turn out to be the biggest asshole on the planet, what do I know?

I have been wrong on how but right on my predictions of whom has died but I can't seem to outguess the way they are writing to side stories I think Merle will join ricks group or die by Darryl's hand for betraying them . I'm incredibly curios as to how Rick and the governor will meet

- shame about T-Dog.... hey look, he's replaced already!
- Andrea has always been wishy-washy. remember the end of season 1?
- Glen "can't we have one good day?".... dude you were just banging the hottest woman left on earth. that's a good day. no matter what else happens, that's a good day.
- Mischonne's gonna go apeshit at some point this season. Book it, done.
- nice dramatic effect having no sound over the closing credits. it just let everything sink in nicely.

Lori was very sad to see happen. I knew she was going to die as someone dropped that spoiler on my from the comic book but they like to do it differently so I was still surprised. it was incredibly sad and an amazing performance from the actor that plays Rick. his pain and grief was incredibly believable. did you see Carls eyes after he shot his mom ice cold. his character arc has been the most interesting.

merle is going to do one of 2 things die at his brothers hands for betraying the group or betray the governor for Ricks Group. he looked not happy when they shot those soldiers last week and not impressed he was not letting him go look for this brother

Tdogg- man what a warriors death. total sacrifice. I think they will find carol later. only so many places to go for the prison. not sure how much trouble she is in yet. but shes alive at least I think so.

I expected Andrew was still alive. rick will have guilt for that. it caused alot of death and rick will feel the burden. i also watched it twice last night it was that good

michonne and andrea need to do something. they are getting annoying. producers of the show siad they are planning 100 episodes over 7 seasons. that is ALOT. the prison will be 2 full seasons. who knows where they go after that. Rick will be an angry man upcoming. I still cant get over how good that performance was last night just WOW

do you think it was one of the governors crew then? and not andrew? I watched Talking Dead Last night and a producer hinted it was Andrew but um of course didnt.... we have another new guy to replace T Dog but I dont think he will be around long.

lol. not taking that bet .... we all knew it was coming. I thought it would be still born. but the writers want to make it as difficult as possible for our survivors. lol.

I agree about Michonne. She has been a disappointment so far.

The Governer on the other hand has been great and I think the best is yet to come. He mentioned his daugher this week but we've yet to see her. I accidentally read some spoilers about what happens in the comic with her so it will be interesting to see what they do on the show. I loved the scene where he was hitting the golf balls at the walkers.

Merle has been very interesting since being re-introduced. I loved when he asked Andrea why they had never hooked up. He seems to have toned down the racism, which in all likelihood is the Governor's doing. I can't wait to see what happens with him.

I don't think we saw that scientist guy Milton this week, but in the preview of next week's episode it shows him being bit. I'm wondering if that tea that he makes has something in it that protects people from getting the fever from a bite.

Neither Rick or Carl showed much interest in the baby at all. I think Carl will come around since it's at least his half-sister (Hershal referred to the baby as "she" in the preview of next week's show) and he probably doesn't even realize there is any question as to who the father is. It might take Rick a bit longer. It looks as though Maggie might be the one who mostly looks after her. It's also looking like the next few episodes might revolve around making runs into town to get stuff for the baby. I guess that'll mean we get to hear someone say "They should be back by now." every other episode again.

I'm starting to think that Rick and the Governor may not meet until the season finale. Hopefully I'm wrong and it happens sooner than that.

I hate children characters in movies and tv, all they do is slow down the plot and constantly put the others in the group in jeopardy. It's the laziest and most trite form of drama. That baby needs to go so the show doesn't slow down from the dead weight.

Besides already being tired of Michonne, I'm afraid they'll turn her into some sort of comic bookish badass with a katana. That type of character might work in the comic book (idk, I haven't read them), but that won't translate very well to this tv show.

Perhaps very minor comic spoilers, not sure I'd call them spoilers but you have been warned.



That's kind of how she is in the comics. It works well there. She is also relatively fucked up and often angry and silent so they got that part right. When she was introduced she got to do a lot more than scowl right away, that probably helped her character. I love the way she was introduced at the end of last year, but after that she really hasnt been given anything to do. I'll be patient though, its only been 2 episodes. I expect her to be more interesting as they give her more to do.
