OT: The Walking Dead - BEWARE OF SPOILERS

My only problem, is I read the show is on a very strict budget because AMC is strapped for cash (a large majority of that money is going to writers for Mad Men and Breaking Bad), hence why things are moving along very slowly at Herschal's farm (1 location equals cheaper to film). There is a little too much dead time for my liking, some secondary characters need to step up.

well that was a big MEH episode after that last one. It was ok but it didn't make me go Hmmmm at all. next one looks really good however.

yeah, that was the first thought I had as well. Meh.
I thought we were done with the whole "who's baby is it". That was confirmed. you'd think it would have been a pretty clear timing issue. Now she's all like "it's yours. no matter what it's yours" what the fuck do you mean "no matter what"? just get Maury-zombie in and be done with it.

I am not convinced that little guy in the bar is dead.

I kind of thought that at the time too. The double-tap was so evident with the fat guy, it seemed conspicuously absent with the other one.


oh well, they can't all be gems.

I liked this episode. The difference to me was that it started great then was slow at the end, which is opposite of the regular episodes.

On a serious note someone has to sit Glen down and talk some sense into him. Point out who the available women are and what they look like then tell him to wise up and not mess up with Maggie.

i chose to watch Eastbound and Down last night ... very big meh ... needs more Stevie Janowski

the putt-putt scene was pretty good.
the rest was indeed a big bag o' meh.

I liked it, or most of it. One part of the story was very entertaining another was a little slow.
Like others I do feel that the budget seems to be dictating the pace. Numerous characters were not in the episode at all this week, I am sure that's a budget thing. It does very well in the ratings and I am sure the DVDs sell well so hopefully they can work things out better.

I am not sure if there is any character on the show I like as a person. Maybe Glen. They are all a bunch of assholes! Not that they are not in hard times.

I thought the show was really good again this week. More good conflict and character development and some good action to boot. Rick was all we'll do things my way. Shane was "na ah." Rick was all you're my bitch. Shane was all, fine but I don't have to like it.

damn, I wish Rick had left Shane in the bus. Sweet karma for leaving the fat guy.
Would have made it very interesting if he escaped and came back for vengeance (and led to my prediction of Dale eventually being the one to kill Shane).

UPDATE! T-dog was finally given a line in this week's episode, though Dale interrupted him halfway through his only sentence. I'm surprised T-dog didn't grab the gun at the end and say "This is for talking over my only line in weeks!" pop!
