Whoever the hell plays Herschel did a damn awesome job, man... That dialogue was moving. Really makes you feel like there just is no future and abandon all hope.

the ending last night was perfect because you could sense Herschels perceptions about your point possibly changing and then ... wow ... what does he think of Rick now

does he see rick as protector and leader or ....



and btw ... how the f are they gonna get out of that saloon

the acting in this whole series is incredible. from almost every actor.

he better be thanking rick from that moment on. but I think things are about to get even worse..... if possible

Everything in the bar was great. The scene with company was fantastic, maybe the best of the series IMO.

I was wondering why she was going out too. Rick and Glen already knew farm girl was sick and were going to get Herschel.
When she got behind the wheel I joked with my wife that that was the scariest thing thats happened in the series so far. Sure enough, it ended badly.

I have seen him in a number of things (Terriers) and liked him and I thought he was good last night. Not that he is a big actor or anything, but I am surprised he was on for such a short amount of time.

I agree on a few things
but I think Rick is about to go badass. hershel certainly figured that out quick. and the look on his face when the guy he shot was getting torn apart spoke wonders on where that is going. I also think that yes he was drunk but you can sober up pretty quick when confronted by some serious shit.

It certainly is a good blood splat on the mirror. The other guy got shot twice and no one really bothered to look at the guy behind the bar besides Glen giving him a cursory look.

I am not certain or sure he is alive, I am just not convinced. I wonder if he is a political type and might run for Governor.

And don't you think the force could cauterize arteries?

maybe not as MEH as I originally thought but was not the best one I have seen.

Agreed.

I thought last night's Walking Dead was still a very good episode. They continued to have more character conflict and development with a lot of important moments (spoilers in white - the conversation between Glenn and his chick at the end, Shane revealing his feelings and perspective (and why he is still very dangerous to Rick), Laurie sharing that with Rick, Rick being more of a bad ass but also still showing his humanity trying to reason with the other members of the "second group" of humans), etc.). Plus it also had a lot of action. I though it was a nice balance and I was glad to see character development was not just a one episode anomaly for the season.

I think the past two episodes have been far and away the best of the series. Much better than "This week.... on running around the woods looking for a lost girl."
