OT: The Walking Dead - BEWARE OF SPOILERS

And with that episode this show moves off my must watch the night it airs list.

I still love this show and rate it one of, if not the, best shows over.

But I cannot blame anyone for getting frustrated with this season. I HATE HATE HATE this bouncing around tactic they have employed since they left the prison. And this clear bait and switch with Glenn is infuriating.

I never liked it as much as you. I thought it was mostly decent show with some great episodes and some awful episodes (same way I feel about Game Of Thrones BTW}. I largely thought a lot of farm episodes were uneventful until the last 5 minutes and a lot of the prison ones were terrible (the flu!). After a decent run for a season or so it's been awful this season after the great episode two.

This episode had characters do stupid things, horrible clunky dialogue, and zombie silliness.

The main reason this was must watch for me on the night it airs is so I could avoid spoilers. I just don't care now.

Yea, I cant really argue with your assessments.

However, I think that S2 (the farm) is actually REALLY good upon second viewing. I have seen that season probably 3 or 4 times, and it REALLY holds up well. Same with the first half of S3 (discovering and clearing the prison). The second half of S3 began to be a bit forgettable and the second half of S4 (post-prison) was just painful. I have not rewatched S5 (Terminus - Alexandria) as a whole, yet, but there were solid episodes in there.

This season has been a hodge-podge so far. Eps 1 and 2 were super solid (ignoring the HORIBLE herd plan). Ep 3 was good. Eps 4 and 5 were well below average and this last episode was solid. The pacing, as I already stated, is manipulative, and I am actually offended by that. Tell a good story. Dont fuck around with these BS manufactured cliffhangers.

joking aside.... I cant stand these little cliff hangers they keep leaving. dont know if any of you watched the talking dead but after the glenn incident the shows producer wrote a letter to fans saying they will see glenn again in some fashion, in whole or pieces or a flashback. they are doing some real jackass moments in this season with these things. I do like the one day thing. I have a feeling that is what the first half of the season will be. then it will go over some new villains in the second half. they have been signed up for a seventh season and the new Main villain has been annouced which makes it exciting to see where and how they do that. but this season while has been fun is not one of the better ones. I cant stand Daryl episodes. glad at least this broke up with Abraham and Sasha about to get it on... I mean cmon Abe has a Rocket in his Pocket...
