OT: The Walking Dead - BEWARE OF SPOILERS

Haha I actually enjoyed that episode for some strange reason. But it was totally filler! The main plot had nothing to do with main story of the series. I think the only thing that came out of that episode was Charlie confessed to Sun that he and Sawyer staged her kidnapping, but that could have came up any number of ways.

When I think of filler episodes the first one that comes to my mind is "The Fly" episode on Breaking Bad.

last episode I saw a character with the popularity of beth get that many lines in one episode was T-Dog. and guess what happened to him that very same one. Beth also said you will miss me when Im gone. I believe shes done tomorrow

Things just got very interesting. How many other groups are there or are they all the same? Don't think the people who found Daryl are the same ones that took Beth.

Funny how Bob's not turning out to be the sketch bag everyone thought at first. Last episode he appeared in before this one I was thinking he was starting to become 1 of the few voices of reason, and it looks like that is still the case. Except that it would have been more logical to bang Sasha before leaving her instead of just a goodbye kiss. Have to figure it's been months for both of them.

looked it to me. the guy talking to Daryll was the same guy standing on the porch at the house.

I don't think there is any question. Jeff Kober (the guy Daryl was pointing his bow at) was the bouncing the tennis ball throughout he house. At this point, t would be a stretch that they are not the same group.

- another build-up episode for the most part, except for Beth gettin' got. wonder how that will get resolved?
- I do kind of like how the stories are fragmented for the time being. allows for a change of pace from week to week

We don't know yet. Although, I get the sense that they are not the Hunters. I will not go into details for comic-spoilers sake, but it just does not seem right to me.

I have heard rumors about the person who kidnapped Beth, though, and that it is possibly a combination of at least two comic-characters, one of which is a Hunter.

Rumors are that the new "Gareth" character is a combination of Gabriel (The pastor who joins the "group") and Chris (the leader of the Hunters)

I do think this is better than last weeks episode but I still didnt really like it. While good things and key things happen, I dont think there was enough substance there for an hour. I had a bad feeling right from the music intro start.

The whole second half of the season should be called "The Walking Alive" because basically its been people walking places. I wish I wasnt, but I am really unimpressed by the recent episodes.

I enjoyed the episode, but like the 2 governor stand alone episodes it feels like total filler. this season has very little rick for the most part. in honest this has been the worst season of the 4. still good but nowhere near as good as the others.

I understand the complaints about the pace of this half-season. However, I enjoy this more than the illness arc they had in the first 5 eps or so of the season. THAT was pointless.

These eps, while not exactly like the comic, do have the feel of the comic at this stage in the story, and I do like that.

For the record, though, this was my most un-favorite portion of the comics. Important, but slow.

yep I agree. the illness ones were brutal for pace but watching Scott Glenns acting for Hershel made it very bearable.

Oh yea. One more theory that, while I doubt, could be VERY interesting...



"Joe", played by Jeff Kober, is Negan. He will have a short arc this season, then disappear only to be seen again in a couple seasons as the main baddy.

Another theory, again, that I doubt, is that Daryl is Dwight.

I gotta disagree with some of you guys, I think these last few episodes have been great. I am looking forward to everyone getting back together eventually, but I like the narrower focus of the separate groups here. I wouldn't have thought I would have liked it as much as I do, but I think they've been really well done.

I agree with you, but the show was built on horror and action. These last few eps have been all introspection and character-drama.

I understand how some fans will be turned off by that.
