Watching the Colts get their asses handed to them tonight it looks like Manning was worth every dime he got. Now only if he was playing. :L

Luck will be a colt

Here's the thing. Word is Luck & his family will sit down & discuss what he wants to do depending on who has the 1st pick. Remember he can return to Stanford for another year if he wants. Luck is going to pull an Elway or Eli. He's going to pick the team he plays for.

Why would Andrew Luck be willing to sit behind Peyton Manning for 3 or 4 years? I just don't see it happening.

I think Manning is probably the best quarterback to ever play the game - runs the offense from the line, beautiful passes, great mind, amazing mechanics. This team with very similar personnel was 24-8 over the last two seasons. This year they will be lucky to go 3-13. Goes to show what a load he was carrying and just how much he elevated the other players on his team.

I think his stock declines if he does that, because that would be two years in a row and people may get sick of it.

He had the option last year, saw Carolina at #1 and (wisely) didn't come out.

I think his stock is too high to screw around with going back again.

I would expect him to be more Elway/Eli and still enter the draft but refuse to play for whoever takes him.

Absolutley. Luck will graduate this year. He'll come out & pull an Eli if he doesn't want to play for the team with the 1st pick. I have a hard time believing Luck would be willing to sit 3 or 4 years behind Manning in Indy, but that's just me.

It depends on his mentality I guess. He could obviously benefit a ton from backing up a guy of Manning's caliber, just like Rodgers did backing up Favre.

I'm sure he'd like to get in sooner rather than later, but there's some definite potential if he rides the pine for a while.

I'm sure he's paying attention to just how bad the Colts are without Manning. Plus the Colts have a bunch of guys in the final year of their contracts. Guys like Wayne, Garcon, Saturday & others. These guys aren't going to come cheap.

Really thinking about it though...the Colts don't have a lot of good young talent. At all. Lots of old guys on offense.

Dolphins are going for Andrew Luck and it's pretty obvious. Tebow couldn't do a damn thing for 55 minutes yet then out of nowhere he takes Denver down the field twice? No way. They let him go down the field because they have zip to play for (and also don't have a QB).

Tebow will get destroyed when he goes against a team who is playing for this year and not next.

First two comments on that link:

"Amazingly, Tebowing proved to have a half-life even shorter than Plancking."

"No kidding. That might be the most Bohring meme I've ever seen."

Maybe just maybe Skip Brainless will shut the fuck up now.

don't get me started on that mindless fucktard.

i think if you did a close search you'd find a hole in his head the size of the western african elephant penis that fucked his brains up.

listening to his constant negativity about aaron rodgers is like somebody putting a white hot metal rod up colin cowherd's asshole except without the satisfaction of knowing another sportsdweeb talking head is getting what he deserves.
