I wonder how long it will be before a team pulls a play out of the old Mike Shanahan/Alex Gibbs cheap-shot book. Remember the job they did on Tony Williams? Someone will go at his knee if he keeps it up.

Football is played, though, by making big hits. That is all part of the game. But you should never taunt a guy who may be seriously injured.

In EVERY single level of play, when a player gets injured on the field, ALL players and coaches - from both teams - rally for the injured player. They don't act like jackasses. You won't find one instance in history when they have. This is not "playing football the way it's supposed to be played".

Suh is a special breed.

No worries.... I like Suh as a player, but he IS asking for it. And I think D-linemen are particularly vulnerable. A player like Hines Ward can be hated but never really be subjected to a cheap hit. A D-lineman can easily be subjected to a cheap shot on an illegal cut block.

however, and i realize this is incredibly unlikely, is there any chance he could have been saying "get the cart" cause he thought ryan was legitimately hurt? i know that probably isn't how it was, but it is possible that the falcons players just misinterpreted what happened
