OT: So I'm in my new apartment now

Now living in the world famous New Bedford MA. Not a very good neighborhood. I defenitely don't see myself walking anywhere that's for sure. My roommates leave for OK in a few hours. Many tears were shed as they're my best friends and I hate seeing them move so far away. Kinda bummed right now but I'm sure I'll feel better when the 3, yes THREE, kittens get back from the groomer (flea dips were on me). If I knew how to post pics from my computer I post pics of them. I am reminded of a funny story my dad was fond of telling. He was still a young boy at the time.

They were at the rear entrance of a store near some garbage bins. Racoons had been spotted there recently. As dad was nearing the bins, his mom yelled out to him, "Watch out for the coons!" just as a black guy walked out of the store. The two met eyes, and grandma followed up her gaffe with an even worse one by saying, "Er...racoons."

Yes I was but the friend I was living with decided to up and move to Oklahoma. Seeing how I've only been working for a year after being out of work for 33 months I was low on funds. Meh, I could use a little excitement in my life
