Canada defeats Hong Kong 27-10 in their final repechage game and qualifies for the 2019 Rugby World Cup - That's the good news.

The bad news - They are in the same group as New Zealand and South Africa. Italy is also in their group.

/I mainly wanted to post this just to use the word repechage.

Bump as the 2019 tourney starts this Friday and I know we have some rugby fans on this board - As noted above, Canada is is a very tough group, they might beat Italy, but even that is is doubt.

Anyone getting/staying up for the semis? I may be delusional but I actually think that England can beat the All Blacks. They looked great against Australia.

I told everyone who would listen that I thought they had a real shot and I still can't believe it! Not that they won but that they pretty much dominated, the scoreboard was kind to the All Blacks. Unreal, what an upset!
