There's just one thing I don't understand...maybe you can help clear this up...

Why is it that my trench coat was never clean, but never got dirtier? And why did I always have the same amount of beard stubble, no matter the time of day, every day.

Okay, sorry...that's two things. Oh...and one more...why did I mention my wife in every episode, but they never showed her, and they never showed me at home. I just...get a little confused about these things, and...oh...I almost forgot...the killer is the lady in the blue dress, and the murder weapon is buried in her flower garden.

Didn't se this until now....very sad news....Columbo was a great show....anyone my age or older will tell you....Columbo was classic...of all the cop shows from that time....Ironside, Night Stalker, Charlies Angels, C.H.I.P.S, etc....Columbo was the best....
