Very sad to this news the other day while on vacation. Tony V is an icon of my youth -- another gone away, and another signal of being older. I got a chance to talk to him for a few seconds back in 2013 when I bumped into him at the Seahawks hotel in Charlotte for reg season week 1. I can't remember what either of us said, but it was just a joy to get the opportunity to meet someone I looked up to so much as a youth sports nut. He was a great guy and treated me like he had known me for years. RIP Tony. One of a kind for sure.
