if you want to feel sorry for a man who took his own life go ahead,he's beyond all things that can hurt him now,,,his family is the victom here

Not trying to be combative, just respectfully wondering:

If you knew he was going through a dark time yesterday, would you have felt sorry for him then? Or say he had survived an attempted suicide?

STOP

A young man took his life. Have some respect. Nobody here can understand it. Nobody here can relate to whatever demons he had in his head. DO NOT turn this RIP thread into a flame fest.

I respectfully ask.

RIP means RIP. Have that respect please.

I dont get how some people are so self absorbed that they cannot simply post RIP versus starting a fucking flame in a RIP thread.

Pisses me off. He was a great player for 20 years in the NFL. He probably played through 20+ concussions and god knows what else he played through. That had to take a toll on his body and mind. We watch and cheer them on and they live for that. When they fall we blast the shit outta them.

RIP means RIP

Not sure how you got that out of what I wrote. I was honestly curious, and withdrew my question while you were responding. I'm sorry I asked in the first place. BruinsFan was right, this thread isn't about us.

Then you should be the last person to say something bad about Junior (at least not knowing the circumstances). As someone who suffers with mental illness and also has had a friend successfully commit suicide I can tell you the human brain can be a destructive thing. If your brain isn't normal it can send abnormal thoughts. It's worse if there's something mentally or physically wrong that goes undiagnosed. I feel bad for both Junior and his survivors. Just saying. R.I.P. Junior Seau.

I am not mad. I am disappointed.

I like these forums very much and hate to see this kind of stuff in a RIP thread is all.

I am Abaskin, not Awaz. My first post was #41, and I am sorry I made it.

Be well, and may we all be lucky enough to not have to personally confront a tragedy like this.

EDIT: Correct post number.

Wow you're dumb. It was Awaz, not Abaskin.....and it was you who was egging on others with your callous opinions. Wrong on two counts and yet I'm sure you're still certain that you're 100% correct.

RIP Junior Seau, Godspeed. Thoughts and condolences to the family and friends who survived him.

As a life long Chargers fan this is just beyond my comprehension at this point.

R.I.P. Junior. You were a legend in your own time.

We had him for some time and he was a beast. Not only that but he did a great amount of public work and just looked so damn happy to be alive. That is what moves me to this sadness. He seemed so alive and was living with so many demons. Just damn sad to see a young guy gone.

What I don't get is everyone I've heard talk about him today has said they had no idea there were any problems. He always seemed so happy & willing to help anyone in need. Yet when he needed help he didn't let anybody know. I don't get it.

ya man i hear that but that is normally the case with depressed people.

His show where he filled in in various sports jobs was awesome to watch. Guy just looked like he was living on top of the world.

When you're the one suffering, sometimes you don't realize you need help. My friend who killed himself was the last person on Earth you would think to do that. No one, not even his best friends, family, co-workers had any idea something was wrong.
