Sad, he seemed like a good guy. I liked the sports show he did.

I wonder if concussions and/or steroids will be a topic of discussion.

Has to be. Speculating here, but the guy played most of his career on the border with Mexico where steroids are easily accessible, was jacked out of his mind, signs point to a steroid user. Combine that with repeated blows to the head and you have a very dangerous situation on your hands.

Outside of Ray Lewis, probably the best linebacker since I've been old enough to watch. LT had just retired when I was old enough to know what was going on.

Yeah. He dominated in the middle like few have.

IMO, he was better that Lewis in his prime. His speed was on another level.

Not to mention a 7 of his former Charger teammates also died before 45. I'm not sure of the details of all or their deaths but I doubt they were all hit by a bus.

Edit - Just found out from reading the article posted in this thread that 1 of them was struck by lightning and another died in a plane crash, but a few of the others are somewhat suspicious.

hmmmm.

So Seau apparently died of a gunshot wound to his chest. Same as Duerson to preserve the brain.
