So since NBC Sports bought the rights to EPL I now get to watch 1 game Saturday and 1 game Sunday as opposed to Fox Soccer, which had 2 channels and showed 4-6 games per day. Now add to that the US World Cup qualifier is not on television (at least English speaking) tonight and I'd say soccer is fucking up of late.

For the first three weeks they have shown 3 games on saturday then either one or two on Sunday. I'd say the coverage has been about the same on TV with the added games available online making the overall coverage better. As far as the qualifier, the host country sells the rights, so alas we get stuck with beIN sports.

Every game has been on TV or online live. Check how your cable company is doing their Extra Time channels and you'll find the game you want. General consensus is NBC Sports Group has been a huge upgrade over Fox's package.

they were lucky not to be down 3 - 1 at the half ... sure they figured it out defensively and played a solid shell for about 30 minutes of the second half on the road but ...

compare the caps effort last night against what Colorado did away v. the Galaxy and i think its clear who is getting that final playoff spot in the west

We should be in the mix... but what worries me is that in the 3 games so far we have scored 0 goals from open play. Only conceded 1 goal total though.
