Ugh, Conners had to make at least birdie at 16. Still, an excellent round today, just hope he can post a good number.

I'm afraid -10 is not going to be good enough, but Corey was nine back at the start of the day.

A 3rd place finish followed by a 7th place finish - That's some pretty fine golf from Corey :thumb:

Corey Connors tied for the lead after 9 at -2.

The guy is becoming a legit threat to win any week.

Last week I think he finished T-14, he's been sniffing inside the top 5, top 10, top 20 consistently. Fabulous ball striker, just need to get the flat stick going.

It's Meatloaf as far as the Canadians are concerned - Mackenzie Hughes is T9 while Corey Connors is T21.

/Mike Weir is wayyy down the leaderboard.

I can understand letting former winners play every year forever in an event a prestigious as the Masters,
but it really makes for a shit-ton of non-competitive rounds and takes away spots from those who have a chance.

i guess that's the point - you got to win to get in, but seems wrong to see these senior tour players getting lapped.

Is it wrong that I can't stand Larry Mize and that one-in-a-million chip shot he made to steal a Masters from Greg Norman?

/Of course, Norman collapsed with a 6 shot lead and gave a Masters to Nick Faldo one year as well.

Fair he say he overcooked (i.e. Bernd) that putt?

/Gary McCord would say they bikini waxed that green.

On a brutally hard day. He hit woods or hybrids into 8 of 10 par 4s. LOL.
