Okay so Weddle has resigned. The contract is a bit steep to my liking, but it was necessary. Weddle & Sanders are solid safeties.

Hopefully they sign Barnett who the Packers released today. He actually said he wants to play for the Chargers.:

The Chargers are trying to change the culture of their defense. That's why Sanders & Takeo Spikes have been added to the roster. I think Barnett would be a solid veteran leader as well.

My team the Chargers have plenty of good players. They just have one of the worst head coaches in the entire league.

Lets just say motivating his team before every game isn't his strong suit.

Haha! The Pittsburgh media did the same with Plaxico Burress. I never wanted him back, but there was such a point made form other fans saying that they'd love it at a reasonable price. It's very possible. There's definitely a lot of secondary positions up for grabs in Seattle.


As for Lofa, I wish him the best. Still pretty good when he was healthy, but he really had trouble staying healthy and his play was starting to decline some. I think it was totally worth it to use his cap space to bring in Miller.

Now, let's package John Carlson and a draft pick to the Giants and try and pry Osi Umenyiora away. Schefter and Clayton are saying it's a possibility.

It actually makes sense. The Giants haven't resigned Kevin Boss so they need a TE.

They're moving the right direction. If Stafford stays healthy, he can really break out. The defense is at the point where it's made significant progress since they've been trained to work with backups QBs not helping. A .500 season sounds to be right on to me.

Eagles have basically made stupendous moves through this whole debacle. Remains to be seen if:

A) they can gel as a team, especially with the limited team practice time
B) they've learned to stop choking in the last few games of the season.

That's the big one. 17 weeks can feel like a lifetime, especially for linemen.
