I agree with Randle El, and Battle. Flozell is a maybe for me. Hines is still important to this team. But this is probably the end for him.

Flozell at 5 is out of the price range. I think the limit for him is 3 and that is pushing it.

I couldnt...And I am not certain, but I doubt you are a role model to thousands of children. I am not saying this is the reason, but it should lessen the blow for the folks on Hines nuts. He was the "Steeler" for such a long time but now there is a chink in the armour.

a childs role model should be their parents..not some sports figure ..sorry but I dont buy that excuse

Kids can have more than one role model. These guys are paid a ton of money to act a certain way, it isnt an excuse. Frankly 59 catches for 755 and 5 TDs can be replaced rather easily. I would bet Sanders give you that right now.

packers back to back!

arod for mvp.

16 players back from IR, including several former starters.

let james jones walk and cut or trade nick barnett, tauscher to retire, will be comfortably under the cap. randall cobb is percy harvin 2.0.

no changes necessary in the offensive or defensive systems, full systems go as soon as the bell rings.

back to back baby!

thats the problem with young parents ... they expect every one else to raise their children.. and your right these guys are paid big bucks to play football not to wet nurse kids.. and hines is like troy heat and soul of the team you cant put a price on that

packers were the favorites. got derailed by injuries and stupid plays timed at exactly the wrong time during the season.

then, yes they got hot at the right time, but by the time they got into the playoffs, no one was surprised at hwo good they were.

they were considered superbowl contenders at the beginning of last year.

That is the dumbest shit I have ever read. Are you telling me you never emulated a Pro athlete as a child? You sound star struck right now with this defense heart and soul mumbo jumbo. He is a player as you said paid to play football and produce. He no longer produces to the level of his contract.

You do realize comparing a TE to a WR in terms of receiving is proving my point right...

I think the Packers may not have the right attitude to go back to back. They were reveling in their win far too long, and I think they'll have a nasty case of Super Bowl hangover.

actually, i take it back, i believe several of the talking heads picked the vikes to win the division last year. i guess they overlooked an aging o- and d-line.

sure I emulated sports stars as a young kid but my parents made sure that I knew that they were human beings too and that everyone in this world has faults ... aka no one is perfect.. as far as hines is concerned .. so what if he had a bad year.. you just dont throw that tallent away

why, because they didn't have player organized gatherings?

overhyped.

because they partied during the offseason?

how different from any other superbowl winner, just that now twitter, face book and blogs are all over it.

not sure that revelling in a championship has anything to do with how well you play the next season. more likely to do with changing (or not changing) personell, teams targeting you, burnout from the long season prior, etc.

the odds are against a repeat, i will grant you that, but it sure as hell is gonna be fun to root for one.

I dont see it as a bad year, I see it as an emergence of the younger players. In a cap league you have to realize when someone is no longer playing to their $$$ value.
