Also, orgs that will not let you connect or have scripts that block content if you use a VPN.

Yeah, because a customer who is actively trying to protect themselves is NOT who you want connecting to your site.

Not only was that behind my Apple issues, I also cannot watch the F1 launch show because they want me to take down my VPN so they can "present the best content based on region". Meaning they want to know what ads to show me.

I went into the office today and found that someone had taken my 32 inch 4 k monitors and replaced them with 22 inch VGA monitors.

Found them. So weird, the guy who took them lost access to the network and had his password locked.

When "IT" showed up to help they found the monitors weren't his.

They are back on my desk and now locked with tethers to my monitor tree.

So you aren't going to burn the building down now. Good to know.

Years ago, when my workplace was still using 22" monitors as their standard, someone made a mistake and ordered 10 27" monitors. So naturally so no one would get jealous our boss told us to put all 10 in storage so no one could use them. So they could sit there never being used.....until obsolete.

One day my co-worker who was in charge of equipment saw one on someone's desk and asked where he* got it, he claimed someone gave it to him and that's all he would say. Bullshit, he somehow got into the storage cage, which he should not have had access to, and took it. He not only lost that monitor, but whenever he needs anything new she makes him jump through hoops and wait.

Finally when Covid hit and people were being sent home, my co-worker handed all 10 monitors out for people that she like to take home. I am using mine now.

*he's a weird scary guy. I have seen his device show up in Thailand a few times, if someone told me he was there for some weird sex tour - I'd 100% believe it.
