When my wife lived in Ireland one of her friends wanted to show her one of his prized possessions. He brought out a shirt encased in a wrapper that Shane had thrown up on during a show. Yuck.

When one of her friends from Ireland stayed with us for a while she was trying to explain just how beloved Shane was in Ireland. Especially being popular and having some success during a time that was not so great for the country.

Maybe Shane died just to go fuck with Sinead. The story supposedly was she tried to have him committed after this recording session. Whatever actually happened I saw an interview with him years later and he was still upset and angry at her.
