It was a tough decision. Rivers has a rough schedule coming up, but with just Grossman and Alex Smith things were looking rough. Bowe is an absolute stud. It was hard to see him go.

Bowe had a bounce back year last year after a shit (IIRC) sophomore year. This year, the whole KC team came out of the gates like dog poo, so it's hard to not get painted with the same brush. I think folks still wonder which is the real Bowe and Cassel for that matter.

At the time, I thought it was a good play given Rivers's success without Jackson. I think Gates being out is what's hurting him...and me, sadly.

That was surprising to me as well considering he took him so high. He is not having a good year so far, but i can see how it was worth it for him with Fitzpatrick playing well and Bowe actually has more points than Rivers so far. This also gives me some trade bait for the off season with both Peyton and Rivers
