NBC has done a pretty poor job in my opinion (and many others). Maybe they could've done a split screen of the scoreboard and the reaction? I dunno, not my job, but I know they could've done better.

After Bob Costas wound down tonight's Olympics coverage by editorializing about Gabby Douglas's all-around gold medal ending stereotypes and tearing down racial barriers, NBC followed it up immediately with this promo for Animal Practice featuring a monkey doing gymnastics. That's... unfortunate.

Not sure what event you are talking about. I think the coverage has been pretty great. I've enjoyed it.

Man, Wambach and Morgan are such a perfect combo as strikers. U.S. has been close several times, but nothing through yet. Should be coming soon...

meh ... might be more enjoyable to you and some others but still doesnt take away the fact its an inferior product ... run, passing stats show that ... I watch it ... definately not more enjoyable imo though

The guys do it because it works. Just my opinion, but I think the speed at which things happen in the game can be too fast for the refs to really see what's happening. But I think it's also just the culture of the refs between the two sides. How often do you see someone get called out on diving or time wasting in men's soccer? Hardly ever from what I've seen. Anectdotally, I've seen it called and cards given more in the women's game.
