I heard earlier that this injury will not affect her chances of competing in the next Olympics.

She will be there.

Yikes... Vonn airlifted to hostital after crashing into gate and is now in hospital.

"The American lost balance on her right leg while landing after a jump. Her ski came off immediately, and Vonn slid off course and hit a gate before coming to a standstill.

Vonn received medical treatment on the slope for 12 minutes before being taken to the hospital."

I skimmed it really fast and only saw the bold part, and was like HOLY SHIT.

If you watch the video, at the :06-07 mark you can see the knee lose any sense of stability. Nasty. MCL was gone baby gone. All that tumblin' at she lost her ligaments on the plant.

Is she going to James Andrews? Rg3 needs to move in on that. I KNOW Antone Exum will.

I imagine she will. The guy is the best, and if you're an elite athlete who wants to get back ASAP, you go to him. The guy probably spends 90% of his time doing ACL reconstruction.

Lindsay's coming to Birmingham???? I may need to get over to the Doc's office & see if she needs help with her "rehab"


I hope to see her back on the slopes soon.
