Not even watching.
do they know something we dont know? I know most any other format trumps music on the AM dial ... but winnipeg has only 1 pro team (if you kindly consider the CFL professional) and the Bombers are contracted long term on another radio station
pre-emptive move by a radio station anticipating an NHL team?
Winnipeg radio station 1290 CFRW will cease its oldies music format and become an all-sports radio station, ChrisD.ca has learned.
Sports Radio 1290 will debut soon, according to program director Chris Brooke, who confirmed the switch Friday afternoon.
No firm date has been set for when the new station will launch.
CFRW first went to air in 1963 and is most well-known for its popular morning show featuring Don Percy.
The station is the host AM broadcaster for the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
How dare they get rid of oldies for Canadian Football. Oldies are the shit.
I was looking for something in the pantry the other day and found an old box of food coloring. Bored, I put some red drops on my wife's pillowcase the last couple of days. She thinks her ears are bleeding at night when she is sleeping and has been googleling for those symptoms the last two days.
what a coincidence. I have been doing the same thing, but with blue.
google is coming up pretty empty for her though. I said it was expulsions from a brain-leech.
Good timing man...any later and you might not have been on the radar and would still be stuck thereI joined ESPN one year ago today. It wasnt until early 2010 I started posting on the boards after 3 months of looking.
