My cough knocked me out of the game about 3/4 of the way through the first half, but we played alright and held our own against a team that went to Nationals last year, and has for several years prior. They're also a D2 school and we're D3, so I feel like losing 14-3 wasn't too bad. But we definitely could have won. We just couldn't punch in any scores. We actually controlled a huge portion of the game. We just didn't finish.

I guess it's supposed to be a pretty deep draft this year. Not like a few years ago when it was Strasburg #1 and then everyone else. I'm actually surprised the M's have managed to settle in at #2. I recall the Orioles and Dbacks being worse not too long ago. The only question now is will the M's make it to 500 runs this season?

Yeah, the M's are pretty much well entrenched in 30th in every offensive category all across the board. The only one they are in a battle for is home runs, which they are actually winning by 1 over Oakland as of tonight.

460 runs through 144 games. Could they really score 39 runs or less in the last 18 games? If any team could pull that off it's the 2010 Seattle Mariners.
