I went out tonight. Goat cheese with a tomato sauce for an app, sumac seared duck with grilled onions, brussels sprouts, saffron sauted onions with tenderloin, and cheddar potato croquettes. It was a good night.


This Black Label isn't bad, but I get the feeling it's pretty tame compared to single malts. I was going to try and ease my way into scotch, but I think after this bottle I'll go get something a little more interesting.

also, it has been a long, long time since I have partaken in that particular vice.
I do wish it was completely legalized up here though. for the sake of the tax revenue, as well as to take power away from organized crime.
