OT - I'm bored, Part Tanev

Yeah, I've been going on fumes myself. This is the 5th or 6th week (not even sure) of 70+ hour weeks. Only one or two more to go! :jumpingfistpumpguy:

Here's how tired I was yesterday. I ate a fortune cookie, and I didn't have a fortune afterwards. About a minute later, I realized that I didn't get a fortune from it. Not sure if it just didn't have one, but I'd say there's a 50/50 shot I just ate the fortune and didn't notice.

On a related note, the lack of actual fortunes in fortune cookies is bullshit. Not sure when/why that changes. Probably some lawyer's fault. Assholes.

I rather like squash.

My tomato sauce sucked while I was cooking it. It just tasted like raw tomatoes. None of the garlic or basil flavors were coming out at all. So I added cream. It still sucked. So I put it on the squash anyway. Then it was wonderful.

The meal tasted fancy, but only took like 40 minutes to make. Much better than the three-hour eggplant Parmesan I made a couple weeks ago...

No, I like squash. But in limited quantity - more as a flavoring/addition than a main course.

I cook for my house every night. Mostly because I'm good at it. Most nights I just cook a slab of meat per person, potatoes or rice, and a vegetable. On Mondays, I don't eat meat, but I don't want to just eat my usual meal minus the meat, so I get fancy every Monday. Pasta with vodka sauce, a Hungarian noodle dish, eggplant Parmesan, and this week's ricotta-stuffed squash so far.
