Not to play "who's broker"...but I have $3.50. And I'm 99% sure that my roommate in charge of paying bills (aka we write her checks) spent our money on things that aren't paying the bills. I am peeeeeeeeved. Our cable/internet is hanging up and I said "Hey, did you pay that yet?" "No." "When is it due?" "Tomorrow..." "We paid you, right?" "Yeah." Went on to say she's having financial issues on her end, it's not us, she'll pay late fees, etc. But...she cashed my check. Don't TOUCH that money! Pay the bill with it immediately! She's broke as a joke right now, I know it. Our cable bill is like $100ish...if she spent that money, she's in big freaking trouble. Especially since I've watched her eat fastfood and buy stuff the past few weeks. I haven't touched my bank account sans rent for a few months now. I understand that she's in a tough place, but then let someone else be in charge of paying bills. Sorry, your father passing away can't be a crutch for irresponsibility. Especially with your roommates' money. Just so much wrong with that.

Lol. I lived near College Park for a little while after college. I enjoyed it actually. I remember there was an outdoor hockey rink somewhere near there where people would gather for pick up roller hockey on the weekends. Not sure if it's still there or not. It was fun, and free. And it was close to Gardens where I used to play hockey. Great facility.

The place is like 5 miles of back roads from the FDA where I will be working so I can avoid traffic. I am excited for the change and the pay increase, but will miss Sara and the puppies. I am kind of pissed that I had to go temporary but can't have my dogs in PG County so Sara and I will have to re-evaluate when she finishes in like 6 months. Right now we are paying on two leases.

It seems cool enough for what I need it for. My gym just opened up a new place like 2 miles away. The metro is right there and my folks place in Purcellville is like an hour or so away.

It will be cool.

My hockey days are probably over though. Too many injuries.

I actually asked the realtor I worked with about a place in MoCo or Howard down the line and she said she only knew of one complex in all of Maryland that allows them. She is starting to look around now for 6-7 months from now. Oh well.
